I am apologize for not posting on the main site for quite some time. I've been focused on making sure my class sites are up to date. I will try my best to update the main page with random things as much as possible.

So here is something random:

In the world of complex numbers i is an imaginary number, yet i x i or i^2, is actually a real number and equals 1.

Day 2

Day 2 was a successful day from my standpoint. I had a three classes today (2 6th grade sections and one AP Stats class). It was a lot of fun meeting the new students that I will have this year and seeing some of the same faces that I got to meet yesterday. I'm excited for tomorrow as I will get to see the students that I had on Day 1.

See everyone tomorrow,
Mr. Schroth

Random Math fact of the day:

Here is an interesting trick to check divisibility of any number by number 3.A number is divisible by three if the sum of its digits is divisible by three (3).

Welcome students!

Today marks the start of a new school year. I can't believe that the summer is over already, but I also am very excited to get the year under way. I hope you all had a good first day like I did.

For those who don't know me I am new to MPH this year and am really looking forward to whats ahead. I really like the atmosphere. The faculty and students have been amazing and very welcoming to me.

My classroom is located in AMOS 1, feel free to stop in anytime and say hi.

I look forward to meeting more students and parents as the year continues. If you need to get a hold of me, my school email address is cschroth@mph.net. Contact me at any time and I will do my best to respond to you as quick as possible.

Best of luck this year to all the students.
